Max Cohen is the Senior Partner of Cohen, Barristers and Solicitors. His areas of expertise include corporate/commercial, securities and real estate law. Max enjoyed a successful business and legal career, which paved the way to open our firm.

Prior to opening Cohen, Barristers & Solicitors, Max was Vice President, General Counsel for Centract Residential Property Services (formerly Brascan Business Services); Associate General Counsel of U.S Loyalty Inc. and its sister company, Loyalty Management Group Canada Inc.
(AIR MILES®) and Vice-President Business Development and Inventory Management for Chapters Inc. Max practiced corporate and securities law with Fogler Rubinoff LLP (1993-1996) where he specialized in private equity transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Max completed the joint M.B.A./LL.B. Program from the Schulich School of Business at York University and Osgood Hall Law School. He also has a Bachelors degree in administrative studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Max was called to the bar in 1994 and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
